We are excited to welcome Dr. Vinothini Vasodavan from Taylor’s University as one of our distinguished speakers at MoodleMoot Malaysia 2025, happening on 2nd–3rd October 2025 at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
With a deep passion for education, Dr. Vinothini sees her role as more than just a lecturer she strives to inspire both students and fellow educators. Formerly an Instructional Designer in the eLearning Division at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, she has extensive experience in integrating technology into teaching and learning. Her research focuses on collaborative learning, particularly through the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework, guiding her to design innovative learning experiences that enhance engagement and promote deeper understanding.
In her session, “Leveraging Moodle to Bridge the Physical and Digital Classroom in HyFlex Environments,” Dr. Vinothini will share how Moodle (myTIMeS) was transformed into a dynamic HyFlex learning platform. She will explore the integration of AI-generated avatar videos and Walter, the AI Learning Buddy from Noodle Factory, to provide personalised coaching, instant feedback, and 24/7 learning support.
