With a strong background in educational technology, management, and administration, Mohd Lokman brings expertise in leveraging Moodle as a powerful LMS. He leads research on e-learning, adult learners, technology readiness, and generative AI, and has collaborated with initiatives such as Erasmus+, AAOU, OU5, and Universitas Terbuka Indonesia. His work focuses on digital literacy, learner retention, and AI in open and distance learning, supported by numerous publications in indexed journals.
In his session, “Transforming Moodle from Repository to Co-Creative Hub: A Pedagogical Framework for Generative AI in Open and Distance Learning,” Mohd Lokman will share a proactive framework to shift Moodle from being a static content repository into a dynamic co-creative hub. Drawing on real-world applications at OUM, he will demonstrate how educators, students, and AI can collaborate to foster dialogue, critical evaluation, and knowledge creation.
